FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – The Emerson Electric Co. Discrete Automation segment in Florham Park, N.J., is introducing the PACSystems IPC 6010, IPC 7010, and IPC 8010 industrial computers for demanding artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and advanced analytics.

PACSystems IPCs rugged computers feature the first CPU in the latest generation of processors for AI-enabled predictive maintenance, process optimization, quality inspection, decision support, and supply chain management.

These rugged computers are for data collection, protocol conversion, historization, and analytics for real-time optimization and visualization capabilities, with updates for challenging industrial applications.

Intel Core processors

The line of IPCs use the latest generation of soldered industrial-rated 13th Generation Intel Core processors, as much as 64 gigabytes of soldered ECC memory, fanless cooling for operating in temperatures as hot as 70 degrees Celsius, thermal monitoring, and an optional fan for hot environments.

With solid-state drive (SSD) storage options ranging as much as 4 terabytes, several gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and as many as four PCI Express slots, PACSystems IPCs can be tailored for vision systems, advanced analytics, data processing, historization and visualization.

Operating system options include Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, PACEdge, and Linux. Software options include PACEdge, Movicon Connext, and Movicon WebHMI. Users also can load their own operating system or application software.
