AUDUBON, Pa. – LCR Embedded Systems in Audubon, Pa., is introducing a VITA 46.11-compliant chassis manager for aerospace and defense applications.
Manufactured in the USA, LCR's chassis manager uses open-source code for rapid field upgrades, feature enhancements, and debugging. Its small size enables mounting variations suitable for deployment as well as all stages of lab-based development and demonstration.
Mounting options include 3U VPX carrier modules or custom boards for internal mount or backplane integration. The system monitors temperature, voltage, and fan speed control monitoring for as many as 32 temperature sensors, 16 I/O points, and as many as 12 fans.
A graphical user interface makes system monitoring fast and efficient. A 4-Watt power draw has minimal influence on overall system dissipated power. LCR chassis managers come integrated as part of a system level solution or as a standalone module.
