MAMBA (HI-6138): MIL-STD-1553B terminals with serial SPI interface

Holt’s MAMBA family of MIL-STD-1553 terminals offer four device options; BC/RT/MT, BC/RT, RT/MT and RT in compact 48-pin plastic QFP or 6mm x 6mm QFN packages. Integrated on-chip transceivers. Communication with host MCU is via a 40 MHz SPI.

Holt’s MAMBATM family of MIL-STD-1553 terminals offers four device options tailored to suit any application need; BC/RT/MT (HI-6138), BC/RT (HI-6137), RT/MT (HI-6136) and RT-only (HI-6135). All devices have integrated transceivers on-chip and are available in 48-pin plastic QFP or 6mm x 6mm QFN packages with a 4-wire 40 MHz host Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).

●      8K x 17-bit words internal static RAM with parity.

●      40 MHz SPI Host Interface.

●      Optional MIL-STD-1760 compliant operation.

●      World’s smallest MIL-STD-1553 terminal, QFN package measures just 6mm x 6mm.

●      Optional self-initialization at reset using external serial EEPROM.
