The HI-25850 MIL-STD-1553 dual transceiver integrates the necessary 1553 isolation transformer magnetics in a single 15mm x 15mm x 4.4mm package. Flexible digital I/O makes this solution ideal for interfacing with FPGAs implementing the 1553 protocol.

The HI-25850 is the latest edition to Holt’s MIL-STD-1553 transceiver family. It combines Holt’s recently announced HI-15850 with the required MIL-STD-1553 isolation transformers in a single package. At only 15mm x 15mm x 4.4mm, this solution has the lowest height and footprint transceiver/transformer combination available on the market today and is an ideal choice for applications using cards with component height restrictions, such as PMC and XMC. The device has additional unique features such as bus tail-off compensation and receiver output pulse-extension control.
