The MCOTS-C-28V-12-HY (12 Vout) and MCOTS-C-28V-28-HY (28 Vout) are compact, high efficiency, high power, half-brick DC-DC converters based on SynQor’s next-generation, isolated, fixed frequency synchronous rectifier technology.

The MCOTS-C-28V-12-HY (12 Vout) and MCOTS-C-28V-28-HY (28 Vout) are compact, high efficiency, high power, half-brick DC-DC converters based on SynQor’s next-generation, isolated, fixed frequency synchronous rectifier technology. The units include a high output capacitance option for large output capacitances and extreme transient applications. They also include a built-in digital load-sharing feature allowing up to 100 units to load share in a system. These modules are compliant with a wide range of military standards.

MCOTS series converters (with an MCOTS filter) are designed to meet: 

• MIL-HDBK-704 (A-F) 

• RTCA/DO-160E Section 16 

• MIL-STD-1275 (B,D) 

• DEF-STAN 61-5 (Part 6)/(5 or 6) 

• MIL-STD-461 (C, D, E, F)

Operational Features 

• High efficiency, 95% at full rated load current (MCOTS-C-28V-12-HY)

• High efficiency, 96% at full rated load current (MCOTS-C-28V-28-HY)

• Operating input voltage range: 9-40 V 

• Fixed frequency switching provides predictable EMI 

• No minimum load requirement
