Silicon Sensing to join exhibitors at ISTS, Japan
Join us at Booth 30
Between the 12th – 18th July this year Silicon Sensing will be among a select group of exhibitors at the prestigious 35th International Symposium on Space Technology and Science (ISTS) in Tokushima, Japan.
The ISTS serves as a forum for engineers, researchers, established corporations, start-ups, and other stakeholders in space-related fields to convene, present their latest findings and exchange insights and experiences. This year’s symposium will focus particularly on transportation and mobility in space, acknowledging that these issues are fundamental to any space exploration endeavour.
This theme is particularly relevant to Silicon Sensing, a market-leader in MEMS-based inertial navigation and stabilisation technology. The company's robust all-silicon sensor technology enables accurate and continuous inertial measurement, even on platforms with stringent size and weight constraints.
In two recent developments, Silicon Sensing and Japan’s leading science and technology university, Science Tokyo, announced (Oct 2024) they had completed a joint programme testing the capabilities of the company’s DMU41 inertial measurement unit (IMU) for low earth orbit (LEO) applications. Additionally, the company announced (Nov 2024) that its smallest sensor – the miniature Pinpoint® gyro - would equip the MARS Phobos moon rover on the Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) mission.
