This certification is necessary for all aerospace industry suppliers to meet the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) quality initiatives.

Meeting the AS9100 standard is internationally recognized as an assurance to customers that a company has a robust and reliable quality system in place that meets the stringent needs of an aerospace program.
The audit encompasses all areas directly affecting the delivery of products and services and verifies compliance to the standard’s requirements in areas like design and development, supply chain, risk analysis, project management, continuous improvement measures and other key metrics.

The AS9100 audit was performed in accordance with the requirements of AS9104/1:2012 by Elma’s registrars, SAI Global.
“Successfully passing the AS9100D audit and qualification process was made easier by the fact that we had been certified to Rev C since the end 2011, and had all key aspects of the standard implemented and operating smoothly for close to seven years, with the same being audited annually by both our registrars as well as periodically by various aerospace customers,’ said Badri Rajan, vice President of operations.
