    This MPPC (Multi-pixel Photon Counter) series feature a 2 x 2 array with each element measuring 3 mm x 3 mm. Due to its monolithic structure, there are no gaps between elements. The MPPC, a type of silicon photomultiplier device, is a solid-state detector capable of photon counting at room temperatures.
