    VLOC manufactures etalons to customer specifications. Etalons are coated to form a resonant cavity which can be used to narrow the spectral bandwidth of a laser source. This facilitates fine-tuning of the source, internal or external to the laser cavity, allowing only the desired wavelength to transmit while suppressing undesired wavelengths.
