The Berkeley Nucleonics Model 870A is a microwave signal generator for radar and electronic-warfare signal simulation, ATE and production test, in one- to four-channel configurations. Four models cover 100 kHz to 12.75, 20, 40 or 54 GHz. Switching takes 500 µs standard or 15 µs with option FS, and option PHS adds phase-coherent switching across channels. Phase noise reaches −140 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz offset (1 GHz). Control is over Ethernet, USB or optional GPIB.
