Sanders to build Apache missile warning

Designers at Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company in Nashua, N.H., are providing their AN/AAR-57(V) Common Missile Warning System to GEC Marconi Avionics Defense Systems to help protect the British Army WAH-64 Longbow Apache attack helicopters from heat-seeking missiles. Sanders engineers will integrate their missile warning system with the GEC Marconi Helicopter Integrated Defensive Aids System, which interfaces with the Sky Guardian 2000 radar warning receiver, laser warning receiver, and countermeasures dispensing system. - J.K.
