Engineers at Microvision Inc. in Seattle are building a helmet-mounted and head-worn display to replace a desktop display at the U.S. Army Battle Command Battle Lab tactical operations center in Leavenworth, Kan. Microvision experts will base the new displays on their Virtual Retinal Display technology. Company engineers also are building a helmet-mounted display for the RAH-66 Comanche Helicopter Compatible Common Helmet Program at the U.S. Army Aircrew Integrated Systems program office.
