Xilinx offers mil-grade versions of new FPGAs

Officials of Xilinx Inc. of San Jose, Calif., are offering high-reliability military-grade versions of two members of their 3.3 volt 0.35-micron Xilinx XC4000XL family of field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) - the XC4036XL and the XC4062XL - which come in quad flat pack and pin grid array hermetic packages.
