Arms sale bazaar postponed

FORT MONMOUTH, N.J. - Lack of interest has forced leaders of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) to cancel the international trade show they were cosponsoring.

FORT MONMOUTH, N.J. - Lack of interest has forced leaders of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) to cancel the international trade show they were cosponsoring.

The show had originally been scheduled for Oct. 26-27 at Fort Monmouth to enable U.S. manufacturers to sell military electronics hardware to foreign military services.

CECOM officials now say it they will postpone the meeting until late spring or early summer of 1999.
