The deciding factor in the first Gulf War was the ability of U.S. forces to fight at night.

Dear Colleagues:

The deciding factor in the first Gulf War was the ability of U.S. forces to fight at night. Battles of the future will be dominated by forces that are network-centric, or in other words, connecting all the elements-land, sea, air-into one networked military. The soldier sees what the pilots see and what the sailors see. Achieving this technological advantage will be difficult; military planners are tasked with the technological challenge of quickly distilling information and knowledge from an ocean of data, disseminating this knowledge instantly over secure global networks, and ensuring that every commander at every echelon has precisely the information he needs, when he needs it. The systems that will power this evolution must be based on open architectures to integrate the latest technology and manage the obsolescence and power issues that go along with state-of-the-art electronics.

The Military Technologies Conference zeroes in on the hottest and most promising technologies that will make the network-centric force a reality. This in-depth technical conference and trade show will not only highlight the technological challenges facing the U.S. military services, but also will present solutions from the most influential systems integrators and subsystems contractors in the industry. With expert government and industry presentations, the Military Technologies Conference charts the technological roadmap of the U.S. military’s transformation to a more network-centric force.

Please look through the following pages and see what a great program we have to offer at this year’s conference. This year’s exhibition is not one to be missed either-a list of exhibitors signed up to date is included. This group of companies will be displaying the latest technologies in the industry and will provide you with great networking opportunities. Be sure to visit our web site at www.miltechconference.com for the most up-to-date information on the conference program and schedule of events.

We look forward to seeing you in Boston for another great Military Technologies Conference!
