Amphenol Industrial Operations in Sidney, N.Y., is offering a series of aluminum shell push-pull connectors that allow quick mating and unmating of the connector. The Amphe-PPM series provides signal and power interconnects in electromechanical instrumentation, medical, and process-control applications. Amphe-PPM connectors are available in nonsealed 12- and 16-millimeter housings with 2 to 12 contacts of 1 to 2.5 millimeters in diameter. The rear accessory can be either a rubber boot or cable clamp. Sealed versions are available in 10-, 12-, 16-, and 18-millimeter housings in two to 14 contacts of 0.8 to 2.5 millimeters in diameter.
