Rockwell Collins achieves SEI Level 3
Software engineers at the Rockwell Collins Inc. Avionics & Communications division in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, are among the best 15 percent of code developers in the U.S. defense industry, according to a recent audit. Collins engineers meet or exceed requirements of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Level 3 software process maturity model, an audit by experts at the Software Productivity Consortium has determined. Auditors from the consortium awarded Collins software engineers with SEI Level 3 status after a rigorous assessment. - J.K.
