Marketers at Lambda Advanced Analog in Santa Clara, Calif., are introducing a new series of radiation-hardened DC-DC converters for space and other hostile environments. The Lambda ARH series devices comply to MIL-PRF 38534 Class H with full Class K processing, and meet the de-rating requirement of MIL-STD 975 and MIL-STD 1547. The Lambda ARH series devices comply to MIL-PRF 38534 Class H with full Class K processing, and meet the de-rating requirement of MIL-STD 975 and MIL-STD 1547. These devices can withstand total-dose radiation of more than 100,000 rads. They are available with single outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 volts, and come in hermetically-sealed packages measuring 2.2 by 2.7 by 0.5 inches. They weigh less than 120 grams. - J.K.
