Danish C-130 aircraft to receive Collins avionics

The Royal Danish Air Force C-130 turboprop transport aircraft fleet will receive the Collins Flight 2 FMS-800 flight-management avionics from the Rockwell International Corp. Collins Avionics and Communications Division in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The new avionics will include global positioning system aiding of the aircraft`s inertial navigation system, and will couple navigation systems to the Collins FDS 255 liquid crystal flat-panel displays.
