Officials of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in New York are launching a World Wide Web service to help U.S. business leaders gain access to global market standards. The service, called NSSN: A Global Standards Network (formerly the National Standards Systems Network) lists international standards from private organizations and from federal government agencies, and includes military specifications and other documents from the U.S. Department of Defense.
