OIS developing flat panels for U.S. Army

OIS Optical Imaging Systems Inc., in Northville, Mich., is developing flat panel displays for the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research and Development Engineering Center in Warren, Mich. Designers from the Army and OIS will share information to jointly develop flat panels for Army applications such as combat vehicles. Army designers will use the displays in ground vehicles and crew station trainers to evaluate the technology. - J.K.
