DAYTON, Ohio, 13 Dec. 2005. MTC Technologies, Inc. announced that the Ogden Air Logistics Center, F-16 System Program Office, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, awarded a follow-on FAST task order to update the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command F-16 aircraft Block 25/30/32 Color Multi-Function Display System (CMFDS).

The award has one basic year funded at $2.4 million. Two additional option years bring the contract's total potential value to $5.0 million.

CMFDS is a recent upgrade to the F-16 Block 25/30/32. MTC's original contract provided for software upgrades but did not include any new requirements. Under the follow-on task order, firmware/software updates will be made to accommodate the Digital Moving Map requirements.

As the prime contractor, MTC will provide overall program management of the three-year task order from its Systems Support Division, Ogden Operations Office in Utah. Subcontractor EFW, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas, will provide firmware/hardware updates for the project.

"This upgrade will provide F-16 pilots with valuable information about the terrain over which they are flying," said MTC CEO David Gutridge. "We are pleased to provide yet another enhancement to this superior fighter, further strengthening the technical resources of our warfighters. While the task order is funded for the basic year at $2.4 million, we fully expect to exceed that amount over the two option years."

MTC, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, provides systems engineering, information technology, intelligence, and program management services to the federal government. MTC employs approximately 2,700 people in more than 40 locations. The company was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. For more information, see www.mtctechnologies.com.
