NASHUA, N.H., 25 Nov. 2015. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving -- an American holiday observed since 1863 for people to give thanks for what they have. At Military & Aerospace Electronics we're thankful for our families, and plan to spend the holiday with them.

Since we'll be with our families over the long holiday weekend, Military & Aerospace Electronics will not be posting new editorial content from Thursday 26 Nov. through Sunday 29 Nov. I hope you won't notice the difference because you'll be too busy with your families.

Thanksgiving is a precious time for us to shift our focus from the demands of work to the rewards that families provide us. It's a good time to take a moment to remember just what it is that keeps us working so hard for 50-plus weeks a year ... if you need a hint the reasons are seated right there at your Thanksgiving table.

We'll be back at it as usual on Monday 30 Nov., when again you can come to Military & Aerospace Electronics for the unique blend of news and commentary you're accustomed to help you in your daily jobs.

We're off for the holiday. See you Monday.
