SAN DIEGO, 29 March 2008.SYS Technologies Inc., a provider of information connectivity solutions that enable situational awareness and real-time collaboration, won a one-year task order valued at approximately $1.5 million to provide programmatic and engineering support for the Navy in the area of shipboard training systems. SYS also recently entered into a merger agreement with Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc.
SYS will provide program management, technical documentation, system safety analysis, and documentation; and communications systems engineering technical support for the Navy's Program Executive Office for shipboard training systems.
