FLIR Systems reveals $57.7 million in delivery orders from the U.S. Army

PORTLAND, Ore., 13 March 2008. FLIR Systems Inc. has been awarded multiple delivery orders totaling $57.7 million from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its Star SAFIRE III stabilized multisensor systems and THV-3000 Long Range Imager Systems.

The units delivered under these orders will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs.

These orders were made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Work on the delivery orders will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Portland, Ore., and Stockholm, Sweden, production facilities.
