FLIR Systems gains $17.5 million delivery order from the U.S. Army

PORTLAND, Ore., 15 Jan. 2008. FLIR Systems Inc. won a $17.5 million delivery order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its Star SAFIRE III stabilized multisensor systems.

PORTLAND, Ore., 15 Jan. 2008.FLIR Systems Inc. won a $17.5 million delivery order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its Star SAFIRE III stabilized multisensor systems.

The units delivered under this order will support the ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. This order was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.

Work on the delivery order will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Portland, Ore., production facility.
