U.S. Navy acquires KeyCreator from Kubotek USA for aircraft design, repair work

MARLBOROUGH, Mass., 24 July 2008. Kubotek USA has revealed that the U.S. Navy's Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) has purchased an additional 12 licenses for Kubotek USA's KeyCreator CAD software. The Navy uses KeyCreator to design mechanical fixtures needed to perform repairs and routine maintenance of various aircraft types serviced by the FRCSW artisans and squadron personnel.

MARLBOROUGH, Mass., 24 July 2008. Kubotek USA has revealed that the U.S. Navy's Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) has purchased an additional 12 licenses for Kubotek USA's KeyCreator CAD software.

This latest purchase brings the Navy's total active licenses of KeyCreator to 39.

The Navy uses KeyCreator to design mechanical fixtures needed to perform repairs and routine maintenance of various aircraft types serviced by the FRCSW artisans and squadron personnel.

Scott Sweeney, vice president of Kubotek USA, notes: "Aerospace applications, especially aircraft maintenance and repair, benefit from our technology because it allows users to work quickly, accurately, and with data from other design programs. We feel our software technology helps the Navy work more efficiently."
