FORT MYERS, Fla., 15 Aug. 2009. Crystek Crystals has released a 1.090 GHz SAW Clock Oscillator (CCSO): the CCSO-014-1090. Crystek designed the module using surface acoustic wave (SAW) crystal technology to provide a low-noise, low-jitter performance with true SineWave output. The resulting oscillator features -138dBc/Hz phase noise at 10KHz offset.

Crystek's CCSO-014-1090 comes in a 14 PIN DIP hermetically sealed package. It features a +12V input voltage and generates a true-sinewave with +12dBm min. output power. The new CCSO has no sub-harmonic and the second harmonic is -40dBc max. The CCSO-014-1090 operates from -55°C to +105°C.

The CCSO-014-1090 was designed for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) applications.
