SAIC gains $50 million to support Navy Reserve Forces Command

SAN DIEGO, 6 Feb. 2009. Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) won a contract from the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Philadelphia Office to provide professional support services to the Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC). The multiple-award contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of $50 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in New Orleans and other locations as required.

(SAIC) won a contract from the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Philadelphia Office to provide professional support services to the Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC). The multiple-award contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of $50 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed in New Orleans and other locations as required.

The Navy Reserve represents 20 percent of the Navy's total force and is critical in order to meet growing global commitments. Under the task order, SAIC will provide professional services as required in areas including strategy, information technology, knowledge management, logistics, maintenance, training, engineering analysis, and technical, maintenance and operational support.
