BEAVERTON, Ore., 15 September 2006. Planar released a new line of LCD monitors that meet TAA Trade Compliancy and GSA requirements. Planar's PQ1710M and PQ1910M are manufactured in trade compliant countries and now available on GSA contracts, as well as through existing FSA Federal Supply Schedules such as, CDW, PCC, Insight, PC Mall and mpc.

Delivering bright, crisp images, and a fast response rate for high-impact, fast action video, Planar's PQ LCD line (http://www.planar.com) features 17- and 19-inch monitors that are available on a GSA schedule, an alternative buying option for federally funded and government agencies, which eliminates the extensive bidding process.

Government buyers looking to procure commercial products that aren't listed on the GSA schedule, have to acquire three competitive bids before making a final purchase.

The PQ line comes with Planar's three-year Customer First warranty including free two-day Advance Replacement for all three years.
