RESTON, Va., 22 September 2006. Software from Netuitive Inc., a leader in real-time analysis software for business service management (BSM), is being used as the core technology in a $7.4 million U.S. Air Force contract.
Delivered by Telos, a federal government IT solutions and services provider, the Adaptive Thresholding and Performance Profiling (ATPP) Solution is being installed at each of the Air Force's 10 major command (MAJCOM) network operations security centers (NOSCs). The NOSCs are responsible for network management and information security of all Air Force information technology assets.
Netuitive software gives the Air Force the ability to more efficiently diagnose, resolve, and predict IT and service performance issues in real-time, enabling the organization to leverage and extend its current investments, reduce operational costs, improve overall IT performance, and better streamline IT operations.
Netuitive's software eliminates manual thresholding and baselining by self-learning a company's environment operating characteristics and automatically generating Dynamic Thresholds that define a range of normal behavior.
When Netuitive detects or forecasts behavior outside the range, IT receives a Trusted Alarms indicator of impending performance problems.
