Middle Eastern customers order American Science and Engineering x-ray security systems
BILLERICA, Mass., 6 June 2006. American Science and Engineering (AS&E) Inc., maker of x-ray detection technology, has received orders from two Middle Eastern entities for x-ray security systems. The orders include a Z Backscatter Van (ZBV) and multiple units of the Gemini parcel x-ray inspection system, valued at more than $1 million.
"We are experiencing an increased volume of business coming out of the Middle East," says Anthony R. Fabiano, president and CEO of AS&E. "Both of these clients require the highest level of security and these orders demonstrate their commitment to utilize technology to enhance their inspection protocol."
AS&E is exhibiting and demonstrating its technology at the Airport Build & Supply Show in Dubai.
