MOORESTOWN, N.J., 1 Dec. 2006. Contract manufacturer Syscom Tech in Moorestown, N.J., has earned certification to IECQ HSPM QC 080000 and ISO 9001:2000 simultaneously, according to officials of the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) in Nashua, N.H.

IECQ HSPM QC 080000 is the hazardous substance process management system launched off the foundation of ISO 9001:2000, and demonstrates compliance to the RoHS and WEEE directives.

Syscom Tech earned the first IECQ HSPM QC 080000 certification for a contract manufacturer of cable assemblies and wire harnesses, NSAI official say.

"QC 080000 Certification provides our customers the assurance they need that Syscom Tech is capable of manufacturing fully RoHS compliant products -- not just lead-free. This certification also provides us with a significant marketing advantage as we solicit new customers", says Syscom Tech President Peter Anninos.

"Syscom Tech has taken an important step in their commitment to quality by implementing both ISO 9001:2000 and IECQ HSPM QC 080000 quality management Systems," says NSAI Development Manager Chris Morrell. "This achievement should put them a step ahead of their competition."
