SAN DIEGO, 12 Dec. 2006. American Technology Corporation, maker of commercial, government, and military directed sound products and solutions, has received new orders totaling approximately $1 million for its proprietary directed sound products. The new orders are comprised of ATC's HSS, NeoPlanar, and LRAD products.
LRAD communicates in excess of 500 meters with authority and high intelligibility through vocal commands and warning tones to influence behavior, gain compliance, and determine intent.
ATC's patent pending technology achieves high intensity 15 to 30 degree beam directionality with very low power. LRADs are currently deployed in a variety of government, military, and commercial applications around the world, including military deployments with the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, and U.S. Navy.
