LaBarge receives $15 million in orders for wiring harnesses to be employed in the Eclipse 500's electronic systems

ST. LOUIS, 4 October 2006. LaBarge Inc. has received $15 million in follow-on orders from Eclipse Aviation Corporation to continue providing wiring harnesses for the Eclipse 500 very light jet (VLJ). In April 2006, LaBarge announced it had received initial orders of approximately $10 million under a multiyear agreement with Eclipse.

In April 2006, LaBarge announced it had received initial orders of approximately $10 million under a multiyear agreement with Eclipse.

LaBarge is building more than 80 different complex wiring harnesses that function in the Eclipse 500's electronic systems related to fuel monitoring, landing gear, and engine and cockpit functionality among others.

The new order will continue production at LaBarge's Berryville, Ark., and Joplin, Mo., facilities through late calendar 2008.
