U.S. Navy contracts General Dynamics to modernize the USS Miami

GROTON, Conn., 31 May 2006. The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics Electric Boat a $29.3 million contract to perform routine maintenance and modernization work on the USS Miami (SSN-755). The USS Miami is a Los Angeles-class attack submarine. Electric Boat is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.
