U.S. Air Force selects Shavlik technology to secure network
ST. PAUL, Minn., 5 May 2006. A global provider of enterprise security software solutions, Shavlik Technologies LLC announced its patch scanning technology will be used by the U.S. Air Force as part of the service's global client device and software management program. Shavlik is included in the solution because its technology partner Symantec's LiveState Client Management was selected by the Air Force.

Symantec integrates Shavlik's patch management technology into Symantec Live State Client Management Suite.
