Courtney E. Howard joins staff of Military & Aerospace Electronics

NASHUA, N.H., 17 Feb. 2006. Courtney E. Howard, a veteran journalist in the technology publishing industry, has joined the staff of Military & Aerospace Electronics magazine as senior editor. She replaces Ben Ames, who has left the magazine to pursue other opportunities.

NASHUA, N.H., 17 Feb. 2006. Courtney E. Howard, a veteran journalist in the technology publishing industry, has joined the staff of Military & Aerospace Electronics magazine as senior editor. She replaces Ben Ames, who has left the magazine to pursue other opportunities.

Howard will be the lead editor on the Military & Aerospace Electronics site on the World Wide Web (www.milaero.com), will report and write a wide variety of technology feature and news stories, and will oversee the Product Applications department in the magazine.

Howard will represent the Military & Aerospace Electronics franchise at industry conferences and trade shows, and also will assist as needed with the Military Technologies Conference, as well as with editorial for the upcoming Military & Aerospace Electronics Europe magazine and Website.

She comes to Military & Aerospace Electronics after spending a decade reporting and writing for industry trade publications such as Computer Graphics World, Electronic Publishing, and Audio Amateur Corp.

A native of Wilton, N.H., Howard is a 1994 Cum Laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in writing.

She is a board member of the American Society of Business Publication Editors, Boston chapter; Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society; and an active member of the Greater Nashua Area Chamber of Commerce.
