GEORGETOWN, Texas, 16 Aug. 2010. AirBorn is launching a Micro-D High Speed product line, which is the result of years of R&D and meets the needs of many customers moving toward multi-gigabit data rates for mission-critical systems. Airborn is designed to fill the gap between commercial high-speed and high-reliability connector systems.

This connector is designed to meet the performance requirements of MIL-DTL-83513, where applicable. It is designed to handle high-speed, LVDS serial bus signals, such as IEEE 1394, Ethernet, serial rapid IO, etc., for rugged, high-reliability applications. The versatile product ranges from one high-speed quad module up to 10 high-speed quad modules and up to 50 signal contacts.
