Vicor Corp. in Andover, Mass., is introducing the PFM VI BRICK isolated rugged AC-DC converter power electronics module with power factor correction (PFC) in the thermally-adept VI Brick package. The PFM VI Brick delivers 330 Watts at 48 volts (SELV) in a 9.5-millimeter-thin profile. The PFM VI Brick module provides isolation, voltage transformation, and PFC regulation in one stage using high-frequency soft switching technology to help with the design of slim products, and supports power systems with 'N+1' redundancy.
