FLIR Systems gains $5.4 million order from U.S. Customs and Border Protection

PORTLAND, Ore., 14 July 2010. FLIR Systems Inc. won a $5.4 million order from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for Star SAFIRE HD stabilized multi-sensors. The units delivered under this order will be used to assist the CBP air assets in their performance on missions guarding the borders of the United States.

PORTLAND, Ore., 14 July 2010. FLIR Systems Inc. won a $5.4 million order from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for Star SAFIRE HD stabilized multi-sensors. The units delivered under this order will be used to assist the CBP air assets in their performance on missions guarding the borders of the United States.

Work on this order will be performed at FLIR's facilities in Wilsonville, Ore., and deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of 2010.
