SALEM, N.H., 13 May 2010.High-rel connector specialist Harwin in Salem, N.H., will demonstrate its Datamate high-reliability connector range at the upcoming Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum and Avionics USA conferences and trade shows June 3-4, San Diego Convention Center in San Diego.

The 2-millimeter pitch cable-to-cable, cable-to-board, and board-to-board Datamate connector family is for applications in harsh operating conditions, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and satellite avionics, as well as military radio and missile guidance systems.

Recent innovations include Datamate Mix-Tek, which allows the designer to configure signal (up to 3A0, power (to 20A) and coax (to 6 GHz) contacts in one package, and Datamate Trio-Tek hi-rel connector contact that can be auto crimped to save time and cost.

“Datamate is enabling designers of today’s UAV and other defense equipment to save space, weight and cost without compromising performance," says Dave Timmons, Harwin’s Western regional sales manager. "These applications demand ultra-reliability, and Datamate has been proven in harsh-environment conditions where shock, vibration, and extremes of temperature are routinely experienced many times.”

Harwin will exhibit in booth 408 at Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum and Avionics USA. For more information contact Harwin online at www.harwin.com, or the Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum and Avionics USA conferences and trade shows at www.avionics-usa.com.
