Aeroflex Colorado Springs in Colorado Springs, Colo., is offering a low-power 3-volt MIL-STD-1553 transceiver based on Aeroflex's legacy 5-volt transceivers for avionic and aerospace applications. The device is fit and functionally compatible to industry standard transceivers.
The UT63M143 is built on Aeroflex's UT0.6 micron CMOS technology, operates at -55 to 125 degrees Celsius and is QML Q and V compliant. The 3-volt transceiver is available with total ionizing dose hardness from 300 kilorads(Si) to 1 making the most ofmaking the most of(Si) and SEL and SEU immune to 109MeV-cm2/mg.
The UT63M143 is $623.00 in QML Q lots of 100. Prototypes and production units are available now. It has been assigned Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) 5962-07242.
"Customers have been requesting a drop-in compatible, industry standard 3-volt transceiver to aid in their avionic and aerospace design for some time," says Anthony Jordan, Director-Standard Products. "Customers now have a 3-volt or a 5-volt transceiver to chose from that is drop-in compatible with Aeroflex's standard 24-lead flatpack or 36-pin DIP packages.
