Xenonics wins $9.8 million contract for NightHunter II illumination systems

CARLSBAD, Calif., 27 Aug. 2007 Xenonics Holdings Inc., maker of advanced illumination and low-light viewing technologies, has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at up to $9.8 million over five years from the Defense Supply Center Columbus for the company's NightHunter II high-intensity illumination devices. An initial $157,000 purchase order under this contract is expected this month.

CARLSBAD, Calif., 27 Aug. 2007 Xenonics Holdings Inc., maker of advanced illumination and low-light viewing technologies, has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at up to $9.8 million over five years from the Defense Supply Center Columbus for the company's NightHunter II high-intensity illumination devices. An initial $157,000 purchase order under this contract is expected this month.

"This long-term supply contract adds to the momentum that is building in our NightHunter business," says CEO Chuck Hunter. He noted that this contract is in addition to the $646,000 purchase order from the Defense Supply Center Columbus for NightHunter II devices.

Xenonics develops and produces advanced, lightweight, and compact ultra-high intensity illumination and low-light vision products for military, law enforcement, public safety, and commercial and private sector applications.
