GREENVILLE, S.C., 8 Nov. 2007.Computer Dynamics in Greenville, S.C., is introducing the SealTouch-15 rugged flat-panel computer in an environmentally sealed enclosure.

The Ruggedized SealTouch-15 is designed to be capable of being installed on an arm, for example: its NEMA 12 capability does not require it to be panel mounted into a cutout. Moreover, its 28-pound weight renders the unit transportable usable in several locations.

Designed to operate in 50 degrees Celsius ambient temperatures, the SealTouch-15 features an Intel Celeron M 1.5 GHz processor with 512 megabytes DDRAM, a 40-gigabyte hard drive, and Ethernet.

Integral to the system is a 15-inch, XGA-resolution display with a resistive touchscreen. Its NEMA 12 environmentally sealed enclosure with corrosion resistance provides protection against falling dirt and dust.

The SealTouch-15 supports Windows XP, Windows NT, and Windows 2000, and is optionally available with a CompactFlash or solid state hard drive for additional resistance to shock and vibration.
