NCI wins $4.8 million USAF airborne secure communications task order

RESTON, Va., 1 Nov. 2007. NCI Inc., a provider of information technology services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies, won a task order to provide the Headquarters, 754th Electronic Systems Group Operations, Infrastructure Systems Division, Air Force Systems Networking (AFSN) Program Office, with systems and network information technology (IT) services.

RESTON, Va., 1 Nov. 2007. NCI Inc., a provider of information technology services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies, won a task order to provide the Headquarters, 754th Electronic Systems Group Operations, Infrastructure Systems Division, Air Force Systems Networking (AFSN) Program Office, with systems and network information technology (IT) services.

The task order has a one-year base plus two one-year options with an estimated value of approximately $4.8 million, if all options are exercised, and was made through the U.S. Air Force's Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract.

Under this task order, NCI will provide information technology systems support, installation and network systems support, system test support, as well as configuration management, documentation, and training services. These activities will support a mobile network-based interim communications capability for use on Air Force and DoD aircraft providing senior leadership with secure communications while airborne.
