FLIR Systems gains $17.4 million order from U.S. Army

PORTLAND, Ore., 8 Nov. 2007. FLIR Systems Inc. won a $17.4 million delivery order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its THV-3000 Long Range Imager System. The units delivered under this order will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. This order was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Work on the delivery order will begin immediately.

This order was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.

Work on the delivery order will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Danderyd, Sweden, production facility.
