FLIR Systems gains $17.4 million order from U.S. Army

PORTLAND, Ore., 8 Nov. 2007. FLIR Systems Inc. won a $17.4 million delivery order from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Ala., for its THV-3000 Long Range Imager System. The units delivered under this order will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. This order was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Work on the delivery order will begin immediately.

The units delivered under this order will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. This order was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.

Work on the delivery order will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Danderyd, Sweden, production facility.
