Naval Air Warfare Center invests in Data Management Services Joint Venture services

CHANTILLY, Va., 18 Sept. 2007. American Systems, an employee-owned government IT solutions provider, announced that the Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division has awarded a $25 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to the Data Management Services Joint Venture (DMSJV), a partnership between American Systems and Data Management Services Inc.

CHANTILLY, Va., 18 Sept. 2007.American Systems, an employee-owned government IT solutions provider, announced that the Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division has awarded a $25 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to the Data Management Services Joint Venture (DMSJV), a partnership between American Systems and Data Management Services Inc.

"American Systems is proud to support the Naval Personnel Development Command (NPDC) and its affiliated organizations in their efforts to ensure that naval personnel are knowledgeable, trained and well-equipped," says president and CEO William C. Hoover. "Fleet readiness is absolutely critical to national security."

Under the terms of the contract, the joint venture partners, American Systems and Data Management Services will provide the NPDC with professional, instructional, administrative, and technical support services at major Fleet Concentration Areas (FCA) worldwide. These services will bolster fleet readiness by helping Navy personnel meet specific performance and course completion standards as determined by the training officers of the different FCA regions.

The contract duration is one year and includes four option years. The contract is valued at $25 million over the five year period of performance.
