OSI Geospatial to provide navigation software to U.S. Navy

OTTAWA, Ontario, 14 Sept. 2007. OSI Geospatial Inc.'s U.S. Systems Operations won a contract to provide the U.S. Navy with ECPINS military navigation software. The software will be installed on small boats designed to support littoral operations.

"The U.S. Navy small boat market is a high priority for our company and this contract is further evidence that we are making solid progress towards achieving our objectives," says Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO.

The U.S. government and many other governments around the world are building thousands of small boats designed to support coastal, harbor, and in-land operations. There is a high demand for small boats that can be deployed quickly to mitigate and respond to security threats.
