FORT WORTH, Texas, 2 Sept. 2007. Aviation component manufacturer and supplier Aerospace Optics Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas, is extending its VIVISUN product line with the VIVISUN LR3 1-by-1.2-inch light-emitting diode (LED) switch.
Similar to the standard VIVISUN LED, the LR3 is also a MIL-PRF certified, lighted pushbutton switch that is available in 11 sunlight-readable colors. The larger LR3 switch is NVIS compliant, has voltage controlled dimming, a low touch temperature and low power consumption, drawing a maximum of 0.054 amps at 28 volts DC.
Like the VIVISUN LED, the LR3 is immune to voltage spikes, lightning transients and electrostatic discharge, and its termination system utilizes the same CTS QUIK-CONNECT to allow for easy harness wiring.
